Wow. It's been a LONG time since this comic originally went online.

Name's Mike, and you may notice that this comic - possibly the next few, we'll see how I go - looks much, much better than the ones to follow. It's probably funnier and more professional, for that matter.
That's because there's about a five-year-gap in between when I first made The Yoshi Herd, and when I pumped out this remade first issue. The comments below here have all been purged - I considered keeping them for posterity, but the differences between what was originally posted and what I'm making now are so vast that they are no longer the slightest bit relevant.
Also it causes me physical pain to read through my comments in what I call "The Stupid Years".

So if you're planning on reading The Yoshi Herd, take this for a foreword.
It's stupid and bad.
Criminally stupid and bad.
We're talking "Azza and Ganondorf are half-brothers" stupid and bad. And yes, that really does happen, and I apologise for it now.

But somewhere down that track, it gets better. The characters get a little more real, the storyline (While heavier than originally) flows a little nicer, and the jokes - when they are present - are funnier and delivered more professionally.
Oh, and it gets prettier. A LOT prettier.

So, please, don't hold these early days against the comic. Consider it an awkward growth spurt for the comic, if you will. And if you see something you don't like - a pointless bit of filler in between updates, a joke that drags on too long, or even something I say in the comments - please just sigh, shake your head and click the Next button. I'd appreciate it, if nothing else.

Egad, though, Ruby looks shocking in that second panel.

Looks good! It's nice to see you bring up a question that I, at least, was always a little confused by. I also can't wait to see new readers squirm as they try to figure out that last panel :P
